Guest Donnab76
What is the clothes shopping like in Perth ? Not that I'm a designer freak but I do like high street fashion and do shop for clothes a lot here , I'm thinking it would be more of a casual dress code ???? PaulandDeb
Depends what you want to spend and where you don't mind shopping for the clothes. You can do the local stuff like Kmart/bigW some smaller out lets in Joondalup, but most of the designer gear $$$ down in the no smoke (Perth). I am addicted to shoes but don't imagine heels would be worn very much as we have the kids most of our socialising would be at home lol x
sun lovers
I will find out think it might be free but you would have to pay for any returns, so just make sure it fits lol my friend is a major shopper so she will def know what shops deliver, she bought a dress the other day it cost her $200, she said it was like something you could get from new look. hence i'm stocking up !!! PaulandDeb
One of our daughters just had a pair of trainers delivered from the UK, $89 including shipping, and it only took nine days door to door. If she purchased from here they would have been $120 all in, bargain.
portlaunay
Surfstitch is really good for casual. I've i-net ordered stuff on UK sites like M&S, John Lewis et al and had it delivered to a friend in the UK who has then bundled it up and sent it out. Guest Pebbles
Couple of pairs of shorts and flip-flops Donna, that'll be enough for me.
verystormy
We find the shopping experience in Perth isnt as good. Not only is it expensive, but the service and even the layout of the shops can be poor. I was in Myer in December hunting for the wifes present and it felt more like a charity shop and its supposed to be one of the main shops a bit like House of Fraser. The experience just isnt the same, The plus is that the wife spends a lot less
PaulandDeb
I only wear shorts an a T most days anyway:censored:
piccolo
Ya I've hear from a few people living out there to stock up on underwear and that the fashion is miles behind the UK and Ireland. So I'll be going on a little spree before I head off. I have 70 pairs of shoes, mostly heels (addicted) and I don't know whether to ship them or not, can't imagine I'll be living this fast paced social life with a toddler!! But I hate to leave them behind!
Guest DMD
I remember on our trip to Melbourne how behind in fashion Aus is but then it's all relevent, if everyone around you isn't bothered then I suppose you won't after a while? I'm not a big shopper so it won't affect me too much I think.

Guest LadyW
Hi I was quite suprised by my first visit to Perth today as it does have more shops than I expected inlcuding designer ones. Also Asos and Bohoo deliver so Im quite happy!! Shoes are an issue but I will figure that out when my current supply starts to bore me!
