Give me a break!
The lower end is for unskilled and apprentice rates. The upper end is more realistic.

piccolo
hi Corinne, the two jobs OH was offered are $30 and $32.50 per hour. The $30 one is in Bunbury though so you'd maybe expect it to be a little lower.

piccolo
Gareth, my advice? Start contacting companies directly (google CNC or metal machinist) and send them your CV. Be prepared to follow up with an early morning phone call. My OH has secured two job offers this way by telephone interview. He is a CNC Machinist and Gear Manufacturer.
