chandi
We have recently been granted our visa and are now in the process of putting our house up for sale as we (Family of 5) would like to move to Perth by the end of our summer. The dilemma that we have is that we have no idea how long the house will take to sell and therefore what do we do with regard finding rental accommodation? Our choices are: 1) Find a property now and put a deposit down but with no guarantee that we could meet the move in date and therefore potentially lose the deposit 2) Wait till we are further down the line in selling the house but potentially have a limited amount of time to find accommodation Just wondered what other people are doing when moving. ali
My advice would be to initially book yourself some holiday accommodation and then look for a rental once here, reading the posts, a lot of agents want you to have viewed the property/driven by and you need to look at it (pics can be very deceptive). Guest trestino2002
I can tell you that you will most likely not be able to lease a property through an agent without having viewed the property first. You could however use a relocation agent to assist you with making a short list of properties to view when you arrive. You will need to pay for this service but in your situation I would recommend it. ( No I am not a relocation agent ). hope this helps http://www.google.com.au/search?sourceid=navclient&aq=0&oq=relocation+age&ie=UTF-8&rlz=1T4ADRA_enAU456AU456&q=relocation+agents+perth&gs_upl=0l0l0l13855lllllllllll0&aqi=g4&pbx=
