Cheers Lee Kinross is a nice area, pretty much handy for everything. I currently have a 4 bedroom 2 bathroom house with a pool available for rent unfurnished at $380 per week. It can be viewed at realestate.com.au ............ the address is 3 Fenwick Mews. Generally speaking fully furnished holiday lets go for round the $500 to $600 mark per week. Guest Maria
Hi Lee Kinross is a great area - I've lived there myself for the last 8 years. It is pretty central, and about 30 mins to city on train. If you are looking for fully furnished accom, let me know, as we have an agent who I can refer you to. They mainly deal in Joondalup (about 10 mins away) Hope the move goes well Maria Hi Guys Just want to thank you all for the information you have provided to me so far, its been agreat help on me making my mind up and relocating my family to Perth. StraighttothePoint
Thanks Maria, I will have a look Kinross is nice, it is handy for the beach and some shopping centres but it is absolutely not central. Central in my mind are areas / suburbs very near Perth city. Kinross is within commuting distance to the Perth if 1) You can get from there to the Joondalup train station easily, 2) Can get on the train when it arrives and 3) Can be bothered with the long wait on the freeway if you drive to the city. Now if you are a tradey or somebody who does not have to go to a city office then this may not apply to you however my advice is clearly weigh this up very carefully. Guest Maria
[Ha Ha what a strange reply to the question that was originally asked - I have yet to meet anyone in Kinross who catches the train from Joondalup station - Have you not realised that Clarkson and Currambine stations are a few minutes either side of Kinross, and as they are at the beginning of the line , there is never a problem getting on them. As far as central goes, everything that we need as a family is in a small radius - I would class that as central. If you decide to drive to the city - yeah the freeway is a nightmare - any location in Perth would cause you the same headache - all of the main arteries in are jammed up in the peak hoursquote=StraighttothKinross is nice, it is handy for the beach and some shopping centres but it is absolutely not central. Currambine station is closer but I was splitting my sides trying to imagine Kinross as central so was getting confused!! As long as you do not need to travel daily into the city centre then all is fine however getting from many of the Perth suburbs to the city on a regular basis is a nightmare given the growth of the place. You know and I know that Perth is one big suburb with roof after roof sprawling as far as the eye can see and so you can base yourself in any of these areas and be happy depending on your wants and needs. However point remains that if your daily work is in Perth city being as close as possible is the way to go now.
