My OH is an electrician an he sat the Ielts twice before he passed, I think the reason he failed was lack of preparation. It was the reading that caught him out first time as he'd been doing silly hours at work (to get the money for the move) and possibly mis-read the questions... They are designed to trip you up. I was going to sell the book on eBay but if you want it, it's yours. This site has helped me loads in our visa journey an I'm keen to help others...
