We live within 5mins drive of lakeside Shopping Centre down by the ECU University.

We see lots of people with families round here, the centre itself has a range of stuff including a cinema which is great. Plus its one of the few places open on a Sunday.

You have Joondalup lake itself if you like going for bike rides, walks, playing on the swings (maybe more for the kids) and BBQs/picnics.

Rentals seem to fluctuate from $400 to $600 depending upon what you are looking for & where.

Sorry cant help on the schools as we dont have kids but the people round here seem happy & talk about them as being nice.

Hi,

Me and my otherhalf have just spent 3 weeks in Joondalup to activate our visa and we loved it. Its close to the beach, national parks and 25min drive to the city. It seemed to have good bus and rail connections and it is defenetly some where we would like to move to. We dont have any children, so I cant help you with schools, but it did seem to be very child freindly.

:notworthy:Hope it helps xxx
