elfie
Just thought id share this I have just made my last tea here in this house. Have sat down all on my ownsome with spag bol garlic bread and a bottle of magners and watched the second race of sbk, [something that my o/h and I always did together] how surreal is that. I am feeling kind of strange emotionless to be exact. The house gets put into a container tomorrow even stranger that my whole life is going to be packed into a 20 ft container and I wont see any of it for 8 weeks. How come my whole life and shared life with my hubby is being able to be put in a box. Its kind of sad in a way also scarey and exciting. I know I am not alone in this experience others on here have done this also just wonder what they felt like in their last night at home before packing up ready for their new life on the other side of the world............. love n light Mary

JaynBev
Mary, Know how you feel, our entire life took up half a container and watching the relocation people pack it up in under half a day felt very weird. Our last meal was fish & chips from the wrappers as we didn't want to dirty anything!! We're now 4 months in over here, have got a longterm rental with all our gear from the UK in it & it's sooo worth it.

Redrobbersdog
It a very weird emotion, me and my little girl had pizza out of the boxes and slept on the floor as everything had gone in the container that day! Was very weird, exciting, sad, emotional, thought provoking, overwhelming and many other things. Good luck and you'll know why you did it all as soon as you get here.
