Hi lara, yes will defo stay in touch, keep us updated with how things are going, we really like the look of ocean reef aswell.......close to the beach and not to far from the city! have you done much research on schools? we havent really looked at schools yet
Lara24
I did have to laugh "have I done much research?", think I have driven myself mad....lol The closest that Australia has to league tables is the my school website http://www.myschool.edu.au/ as wth anything it only tells you part of the story but it is a start when deciding where to live. My husband was over in Perth at the end of last year and had a look around Peter Moyes and St Marks. He really liked St Marks but there is a huge waiting list so we hope the boys will get in for High School years and we can source a good state primary school in the mean-time. It is really difficult and there only is so much you can do from the other side of the world. Your kids are old enough that as long as you live in zone of a good school they should get in no probs, kindy and pp are not compulsory so we may not get a place to start next feb if we only arrive in Nov. I am sure it will all work out in the end, I am just struggling a bit with all the uncertainty - I am a self-confessed control freak so emigrating is testing me to say the least, haha!! Lara24
Def up for meeting when we get there - thanks. I am not on facebook but think I may need to start as it seems a good way to find other people in the same boat once we get to Perth. I will save your details and look you up on FB when I sort it out........joining the 21st century at last!! I will PM you once we have travel details etc as I am sure you are a font of knowledge. It must be strange starting again, I have lived in Aberdeen all my life so this is a leap of faith for me. Will be in touch.
