Guest graham from hull
HI We are coming to perth in august, but my GF and two daughters coming in October. I am starting work in Walliston near Kalamunda, and woud like to know were to live. Were is a nice neighbourhood for children, nice for a pint, close to shops and schools, and decent not too expensive rental areas. Dont mind travelling to work as long as its not more than 30 min commute by car. Thank you.
Guest Langy
Are you wanting to buy or rent? What's your budget? Do you want to surround yourself with Poms and be a "warm Pom" rather than an Aussie? The hills are nice, there's some dodgy suburbs in the foothills. I'd look at renting initially in an area where you can afford to buy or rent for the long term in due course 'cos the kids will get settled into schools and make friends, they probably wouldn't appreciate being uprooted again. You'll probably find house prices here will make your eyes water coming from Hull though.
