bugsyburrell
Curious question on how long you think (or know?) it would take to drive from Mandurah to Joondalup on a weekday in and/or out of rush hour??

bugsyburrell
Coming from London and spending more time than that to cover a lot less distance I'm happy with that:)
jamesw
1 hour 20 minutes on the train. 2 hours in rush hour by car and hope their is not an accident on the freeway, there really isn't to much of an alternative route
phil
That's one end of the train line to the other I think. For me, I'd not be considering driving that. I came to Perth for a better quality of life, and 4+ hours a day (minimum and I reckon, and regularly a lot more than that) sat in a car wouldn't be for me. JaynBev
I used to do Baldivis to Joondalup everyday in rush hour traffic, I left at 6.15 to get to work at 8. Somedays I was in for 7.25 other days 8.40. Depends on traffic & weather. I did it for 14 weeks & now live in Joondalup & work in Joondalup!! fiona
Hi We live in Mandurah and hubby used to drive to Redcliffe every day and that was about an hour and half each way depending on traffic. He found the drive boring, tedious and made him really crankey. He worked for 10 hours a day plus the communte. Thankfully he now works in Mandurah else we would have been moving nearer to his works.
