Mindarie is a beautiful place and myself, husband & 10m old are moving there next may. (Initially staying with relatives there). The school is lovely, I went to a summer fair they held there when i visted in March. Doctors appointments are free for children up to age 16. Adults have to pay around $60 upfront and get approx $40 back. The do something called bulk billing and you will need a medicare card. Im not sure about dentists apart from that they are very expensive! How are you finding the move so far? When did you arrive? Jo1977
Hi Sam You sound like you are having a great time. Please could you tell me how easy it was to secure your rental..We come over on August 10th and have short term accommodation for 6 weeks. I'm getting worried about finding a place as I will be having to do it as my OH will be at work.. Any tips would be greatly received!!! saffyalice
Hi Jo Its so lovely here so peacefull and Like I said everyone here are so friendly! We looked at a few rentals which were lower end of our budget but found they weren't quite us the ones we really liked had gone so you have to get a viewing quick and If you like it get your applications in quick. Luckilly for us the house we had been admiring from the website while still in the UK for a few months was still availble but it is at the top end of our budget but lovely! Not sure what your budget is but the top end are availble lower budget get taken very quickly. Are you looking in this area?
