Guest jonholland77
Dear all, this is my first post to this website so please bare with me. My wife and I are planning to emigrate to Perth in the near future, it's simply a case of which visa best suits us. I am an office manager (AAT qualified) working for a private health care company and my wife is an Optician. I recognise that an Optician is high up there on the 'wanted' list (mine less so?) so our emigration would be fairly straight forward. That said, my wife has reservations about doing the competency exams (practical in Oz and theory in UK as we understand it). I was wondering if anyone has completed them and that can pass on their experiences and advice? She is a great Optom but has been through that stressful period in her life and is concerned about the apparent logistics of it all and whether the exam would be as intense as those that she has already passed. Is it that difficult? All help and advice greatly appreciated. Many thanks
