Guest guest1337
Hi Council rates are $1000, water $600 per year, car insurance is generally cheaper, mine is $300 for a v6 commodore fully comp, rego here is also 3rd party insurance the cost of that depends on car size. electric and gas are around $30 to $50 per month. Food is nearly the same as u.k. although its rubish! and there's no real choice as there's only 3 supermarkets in Perth, as far as I'm aware? If I missed anything ask? Good Luck with the move Andy
sullivan_artex
there is work around for your trade but i think you are made to start from the begging to show what you can do in my experience once i showed them what i knew and what i could do i was excepted quite easily. if you are looking for work in the motor mechanics trade then i would try Osborn Park industrial estate thats where alot of the main car garages and dealerships a located. A friend of mine moved there he was a apprentice mechanic and he is now a tyre fitter for Bridgestone and his dad was a qualified mechanic and he went into realastate. The choice is yours mate.
