Richiec
was invited to apply for my skilled nominated visa on the 12th of October, case officer assigned on the 30th of October all my documentation has been submitted now apart from the medical which is taking place tomorrow at 12:45pm in Edinburgh. I'm 33 and male in the last 5 years i've started to really look after myself eating healthy running gym swimming couple half marathons and the odd jog up them big hills in the lake district. So i feel fit and healthy not over weight and well toned but the butterflies are setting in now as this should be the last hurdle
Guest Christine999
I think the main thing that would affect your medicals is if you have something that requires a lot of medical care so if you are generally fit and healthy you shouldn't have anything to worry about. We will have to do ours soon. Good luck with yours.

GeneralMelchit
Hi Richie We got our 176 visa last week!!!! To put your mind at rest, simply don't worry. From what so have said you are pretty much their. Once you pass your medical which it sounds like you will no problem you should have your visa 2 weeks tops! ( or at least that was what our experience was- depends on how switched on the hospital/med centre is where you are having your medicals done in a nutshell)
DyLeB
We did our medicals in Edinburgh, the staff were really nice. You should have nothing to worry about with your medical. Good Luck
Richiec
Medical went like this, Arrived signed in had digital photo taken, sat in waiting room while photo and info was uploaded. Taken into a room eye test height weight taken asked to pee in a pot. Taken by another nurse for blood pressure and then blood sample, returned to waiting room. Called through to the Doc ears eyes heart lungs and stomach checked. Asked about general health then taken for chest xray doc had a quick look said looked ok but blood and xrays go out for analysis. I asked Doc for her verdict and she said i was tip top as far as she was concerned so pretty happy now phew
