Christmas gifts - an idea for ex-pats to do something different and save on post

Calling all ex-pat Scots and others who have relatives in, or links to, Scotland.

This could may be a great Christmas gift to organize from Australia as it not only saves on the costly postage, and all the hassle that goes into finding something different, but with the current exchange rates it is great value. Equally good gift though if you are still in the UK as it is so different.

www.Trees4Scotland.com

Trees4Scotland was founded in 2008 and is dedicated to planting native permanent woodlands in Scotland.

Supporters can purchase and dedicate their very own tree to a family member, or loved one, and have that tree marked forever by a plaque engraved with the message of their choice. Alternatively people can purchase a number of trees to help get native woodland back into the remote areas of Scotland.

The beauty is that people can actually go and visit these woods and see for themselves the trees they have been given or the re-generated woodland they have helped create. The woods are easy to find and close enough to most major cities for a visit.

If you need anymore information please PM me. I can send you a photo of the plaque I have in place if you need help deciding. Also if you want to buy more than 2 trees in The Whispering Wood or more than 10 trees in The Teaghlach Wood please let me know and I can see about any discounts.
