fifi69
I hope you are all ok....people,pets and property Hardly slept a wink last night. At one point at 2.30am, i really did think the windows were going to blow in, everything in the house seemed to rattle!! Am surprised that everything in the garden is as it should be and not all lying in the pool or half way down the street! Would never have thought that on the cusp of summer we would get a day and night like that. Weather.....isnt it weird

Dogs didn't want to get off the sofa to go outside this morning either when we all left for work. There was 2 poor little faces at the back door! verystormy
Perth is notorius for the odd storm through summer, including the threat of cyclone, which we had one sail past Perth a couple of years ago. Also had a hail storm a couple of years ago in the summer that rained baseball sized hail and damaged thousands of cars. One of the unusual aspects of Mandurah is that it has one of the highest proportions of tornados in the world.
Joseph Rydell
I remember the hail storm. I was in a taxi at the time, that took shelter under a tree, but the tree got shredded and the taxi looked like a golf ball after. It was pretty awesome.
