Rossmoyne
Hi Ethan - A few moths ago I changed my home phone and internet package from Optus to IInet. Best thing I ever did as they are almost half the cost....
Kev Rad
i am looking for the best home phone and broadband package that also has cheap or free international calls I.E the uk any one have any advice ? thanks Ethan Hi Ethan. If you get a decent broadband connection your best bet would probably be to get skype on your laptop and you can dial the UK for about 5p/min, you can ring a mobile for about 14p/min, that's from anywhere in the world. If you have a smartphone you can get Skype as an app and use it on a Wi Fi connection at home as a phone. Really is Very Cheap way of keeping in touch with people in the UK. Hope that is of some help. Kev

bensdad
I use Skype for video, viber for text and sometimes calls however our rate with Telstra home is cheap for dialling the uk and reception better than viber.

Lou8670
Skype to Skype is definitely the way to go. We've been doing that for 5 years now to family in Waikiki which is great as the kids get to see their Aunty every week for free.

Philpom
I would be having a good look at your Telstra bill when it comes in and make sure they aren't screwing you over. We ended up getting rid of them and getting Voip using a company called Engin. $40 per month and unlimited free local, national and mobile calls along with free calls to 8 international destinations.
