Lou8670 Posted April 27, 2013 Report Share Posted April 27, 2013 DIAC are quoting 10 weeks and previously that has been the norm but some 189 visa have been as quick as 5 weeks recently if all documents have been front loaded and in order. Lou8670 Posted April 30, 2013 Report Share Posted April 30, 2013 There was link to book medicals on the page for uploading documents after lodging our visa application and making payment. We followed the link and completed the medical forms which generated a letter we could then use to book our Medicals. We decided to book them for the end of May partly because everyone on here was saying don't book them until you have been allocated your case officer and that would be about 10 weeks which would have been beginning of June. However we were allocated our case officer yesterday. I have sent our PCC applications off today. Apparently the UK are taking between 2-4 weeks. So hopefully it should all tie in. Our case officer has advised us we have 28 days to lodge the remaining forms and if this is not possible then to email evidence we have booked the Medicals/ receipt for the PCC checks so they don't make a decision before they are uploaded. Has anyone recently sent police clearance off? Which service do you advice the 2 day or 10 day service and did you pay for any of the extras?! Has anyone recently sent police clearance off? Which service do you advice the 2 day or 10 day service and did you pay for any of the extras?! Sent ours off a couple of weeks ago, standard service, and received an email yesterday confirming they had received our applications and they are being processed.
