ali Posted June 3, 2013 Report Share Posted June 3, 2013 We have flown with emirates when the children were 5 and 9 and Singapore when they were 7 and 11 - both were excellent. Singapore, Malaysia, Quantas and Britannia (back in the day when you could get a flight from Luton for £399.00 return, but like a cattle market on the flight!..never did it with kids) and Emirates. Have to say that Emirates were by far the best. Second would be Singapore and probably Malaysia third. Quantas was terrible, mind you it was Christmas Eve, and we thought they had to drag people off the street to work that shift, very bad service and cost a packet. Although the domestic flights with Quantas have been great here, but pricey! Emirates is the shortest flight times too, and the turn around at Dubai is great 2 hours I think from memory. Staff werent friendly, food was very bog standard and dreadful for our daughter. We flew with quantas from london to sydney 2 years ago and they were amazing. It was the best price and able to double baggage allawance when migrating! we flow with Britannia on our first trip to oz..... Cost £400!! Shocking service tho!!
