We have read that it is worth taking washing machines etc but what about small appliances like kettles, toasters, mixers etc? Do they work or do you have to use adapters are you able to put different plugs on them? Any help would be appreciated. Lee The Mortgage MAn Posted August 10, 2010 Report Share Posted August 10, 2010 Hi Lee I will second that, Bring as much as you can as it is pretty expensive here, it is easy to change the plugs and they work fine, the only thing you may want to double check is the TV's, you can sometimes have a drama with them not working. but I think they work ok with digital receivers, which is how it is all going over here anyway, just do a bit of homework on it.
