My daughter has a massive circle of great friends. They shop, go out for dinner and parties regularly. Worry that she will struggle to make new friends given her age (quite shy) and worry that there just won't be enough for her to do - she's not outdoorsy.

Hi All, Have just giggled at Perth's Pet Hates and would really like to know what people love about Perth. The more research I do, the more I think it might not be the place for my 16 year old. Is there plenty to do? Does anyone regret leaving UK? Or what do people miss about UK? Any info would be greatly received x

Hi, can anyone give me any help/advice with the following: 1. How much roughly does it cost to ship household goods, plus a car over from England? Can anyone recommend a good removal firm? How long does shipping usually take? 2. Those that have emigrated, have you found rental accommodation prior to moving? If so, who with. Also, are most rentals furnished or unfurnished? Hi Ali We would need a 3 bed house preferably with outside space. Would ideally like to be able to commute within half an hour and would like to be nearish to a beach if poss. Not sure about how much we can afford yet because this is dependent on what jobs we secure. Don't need to be near a school but would like to live in a nice area.

Hi Hoping to move to Perth before Sept 2014 - visa has been granted. Can anyone recommend anywhere to live where the rent is not too high within easy reach of Freemantle? Suggestions as to where to live generally south of Perth would be very welcome. Again not too expensive. Is it easy to find rental accommodation? Many thanks Sals
