I know this question has probably been asked many times before but here goes anyway we have applied for our 186 sponsored visa after being here in a 457 for 2 1/2 years application went in on 6th Feb but still no agent appointed. Anyone got any up to date information on times for processing M

Hi all looking for some advice for my 22yr old son who has just graduated from Plymouth Uni. We arrived in Perth at the end of July this year that's me my wife and our 10 yr old. Our other 2 older children decided to stay in the uk. We are here on a sponsored 457 visa and were advised at the time that we could not include our older sons as they would not be able to work on my visa. The eldest now wants to come out to work. Are there any other options than a 12 month working visa ? And how long can he spend in one job during that period ?

Mine took 4 working days from the actual application submission. Although it took 6 weeks to organise the medical etc. Arrived at the end of July and although the weather is still a bit changeable its all good so far

Hi looking for some advice on the roads to wave rock from Perth and the roads from wave rock to Albany We are thinking of retracing a trip that we carried out in 1999 on a visit from Perth to wave rock down to Albany then up to Busselton We were hoping to go this time in a camper/ motorhome but have been advised that you have to stick to "sealed" roads I assume this means Tarmac or bitumen When we travelled in 1999 I know that the roads were not constructed this way from about half way to brookton Can anyone advise if the roads are now sealed Thanks

I am sure that this has been asked before but I need to know if there are any Airlines that give you additional baggage allowance when you book one way on a 457 Visa. My sponsor company is paying for our flights Mine is booked for 27th July on Emirates but have found that they want to charge a fortune for any additional baggage. My wife and 10 year old fly out mid August and we haven't booked their flights yet, so was hoping to book with an Airline who will up the allowance Any help please

My wife has now got her dates now She flys out with our 10 yr old son on 11th Aug We are staying in Freemantle in my new companies accommodation for 6 weeks whilst we look for something more permanent. We liked the look of Beeliar and surrounding areas Good luck maybe a beer in a few weeks

Hi Know it's been a while since the last post on this thread but looking for info on Beeliar We are arriving at end of this month and are in company accommodation for 6 weeks We are looking at Beeliar but need to find out more about local private and state schools Our son is 10 will be 11 in Nov Thanks
