Guest martync
I'm still in the UK but would love toget a low down of what people ride, what gear they wear and the cost of riding and gear etc... I ride enduro but also have usually a sports tourer and ride when I can. I aim to ride to work when I move From what I imagine........ Bikes are mostly harley as roads are straight and flat and gear work is jeans and open face helmet but a joe rocket type jacket to let air in. Coppers are all over and will nick you for speeding and off road is usually out of town on un road registered bikes where you need a truck or trailer to get the bike to the area your riding. Are there many clubs and meet ups etc...? However much i asumed here and would like some input. final question is it best to import a bike and if so what? classic? cruiser or BMWGS1200 type

THere's not many coppers about to nick you, and speed camera locations are broadcast on the radio and posted on the forum below! Import whatever bike you like, probably cheaper to buy in the u.k. but I have no idea about shipping costs!
