ive got the whole house to paint yet and with snow forecast tomorrow things could go t up even more .

We leave jan 29th, visa came through last monday, flights booked wednesday. So my day goes like this packing, cleaning, gardening ( have to sort garden for tenants moving in), looking after 4 kids, husband in canada for next week, packing, and worst of all, we are not taking a container so need to find storage for everything. I was sure i had picked up a bug but realise its anxiety, an unfamiliar feeling for me. trying to find a short term rental as well. And im waking up every 2 hours silently screaming 'what am i doing" !!!

Cant wait to be there and finished with all this crap. not easy. But my husband has decided that he wont work for the month of feb so we will have a month to take it easy and sort out schools in a less frantic environment. the goodbyes to family and friends has started, thats not so good. cant wait to get off the plane.

Wow Ian, only one week to go hey! You have come along way since I first started interacting with you on Perthpoms back in October/November 2011 when you were asking about the Vetassessment. Well done! Grab your new Aussie life by the horns and enjoy it for what it is.

Good luck

Thanks paul

got my lads leaving do tonight , should be a messy one

take care

Hi dave

We have never set foot in Australia before , so for us to sell up and say we're going for ever would be suicide .

were giving it a 2 year plan and if we are financially ok and children are settled , then we will go from there

all the best

Good luck, I will be a few days behind you. We are the same, looking to give it at least a couple of years. Did you manage to get a start in the end.
