I am now getting used to the "single life" once more and would also like to meet up for girlie chats, drinks, shopping etc.. I live in the Guildford area but am happy to meet up elsewhere and explore a bit. Would love to come along to The Lucky Shag on Saturday afternoon too. Love fun and laughter and know I am going to miss my girlfriends back home in the uk so much:( I came over only yesterday and my hubbie arrives 20 april so pretty lonely at the mo til I start work 2 April Would welcome some laughter, shopping tips, gossip and fun!! Is this post for me Aliwax....if so the answer is kinda. Still in temp rental acc trying to secure a rent home which has been really frustrating. Our fav areas are/where Floreat, City Beach, Churchlands ish although had app to see one in Applecross but it had gone b4 we got there..:-( 4wks and counting my son has been off school, getting a little bit bored now, think we've visited every skateboard park Perth has to offer. Although I think he is handling this part better than me, but like you say hey ho just got to crack on. Hope your sons good, your mind works overtime in these situations. Meetn up would be cool, need to suss out transport as car rental goes back this wk (from H/O work) and our cars won't be here til May. Girlie catch ups, gossiping, shopping & plenty of vino (of course) is right up my street, sounds like we all have loads in common already.. Haha! Im 31 years old.. Still feel about 18 (where have the years gone??) and am always eager to meet new people who share the same interests.. Have been in Perth for 6 months (from Wales) currently living in the foothills but looking to move NOR soon! My hubby Is FIFO & I have 3 lovely little bubs! So the nights out are rare :-( Lol. My name is Cathryn and my partner and I have been in Perth about 8 weeks now. My partner has an uncle and cousins so has male company and I'm ready for girlie conversations and would love to meet up We live in Carlisle near Vic Park (SOR).To all of you making the move in the near future, I just want to say that we are loving every minute of it so don't be nervous. In the weeks leading up to the flight and in the airport, I wondered what on earth we were doing but i'm so glad we made the move. And even if the weather and beaches aren't enough for you, i've lost weight through regular bike rides and a short walk to work and feeling heathier is a bonus i never expected. Loads of people on here are NOR so it's nice to come across people who are the opposite my OH works away a lot so always keen to have a girls catch up as I miss my friends back in the UK.
