Guest mikeg3 Posted April 1, 2013 Report Share Posted April 1, 2013 Hi Perth Poms, We have just recently taken the plunge to relocate from the hot and dusty surrounds of Karratha to relative civilisation of Perth. We are a family of 5 and have lived in Oz for 4 years we began our journey in the Geelong area of Victoria before deciding to give the Pilbara a try. The opportunity to try Perth has presented itself and we reckon Perth might be the elusive piece of the jigsaw that could see us make Australia home. Anyway I'll be working in Bibra Lake and we are targeting Baldivis and Secret Harbour, does anyone have real world of experience of this commute, can it be done in 40 minutes? Guest chedac Posted April 4, 2013 Report Share Posted April 4, 2013 You could probable do the commute from baldivis in 40 min on most days, but the freeway can be a knight mare at times. Baldivis is an up and coming area but you really need to drive to everything. secret harbour is very nice close to the beach, but also consider golden bat and singleton.
