  1. Hi I have just been looking into different areas, Nedlands looks expensive !! i am waiting for the go ahead for the medical, I spoke to HR who said we need the medical around May time and they will contact us with the details. As for the visa, are you going on the 457, if so they said we need to apply around June/July because it only takes 2-6 weeks to get, and we need to start work within 3 months of getting it, so its too soon yet as we dont start till October. Let me know how your getting on, it will be interesting to see, maybe we will meet soon, accross the pond
  2. Hi Steph Yes thats when I fly out too, I cant wait, the contract looks amazing doesn`t it. I am just wishing my life away now, do you have a date for your medical yet, I have been told its sometime in May. What speciality are you, Im Trauma and Orthopaedics, not sure where I will end up tho
  3. Im planning on moving my 4 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback over to Perth in September, and Im looking for a reputable pet migration agency, some have given quotes in excess of 3,000, however this is the quote on what they supply. I then notice that theres another list of thing I need to do ie book the quarantine spaces ect whats your experience of this and is there an agency that sorts everything out for you, am I looking at over 5000 ???
  4. Hi I got the job, the wheels are in motion and I should be there by September, looking forward to it. best of luck to you
  5. Has anyone else been in this situation, any advice
  6. Thanks Drhebden, best of luck in your new adventure
  7. I have been offered a 4 year sponsor as a nurse in Perth, I have been told I will be able to apply for a PR after 6 months, and they will help me. Has anybody else done it this way, and is it a good idea

  9. My partner has Ulcerative Colitis and has been on IV Infliximab for 12 months, but he is hoping to stop it soon. What are his chances of passing the medical for us to get to Australia the end of next year, Im worried his health will stop us from going
