  2. Hi Bob Thank you so much for all the agencies, hubby did sign on for a few but nothing came up, so he was a bit sceptical about them but he is willing to give them a try after crimbo ( as u said put our feet up an crack another tinnie, now that sounds like a plan ) Have a great christmas and new year, all the very best for 2010, and I will post somethin on here if he manages to find work. Once again Thanx Debbie x

  4. Hi All Can anyone help? We have been in this great country for 3 months now and although I have found work, my husband cannot. Does anybody know of anyone who might be hiring at the moment? Know its gonna be hard with Christmas comin up but he's going out of his mind. He is a CNC operator by trade but can do almost anything ( painting, labouring, warehouse work, FLT ). If anyone knows of ANYTHING please get in touch, either on here or PM me. Thanks Debiy
  5. Hi Jane Thanks for replying, I have tried both of them sites but think I'm just a bit too early for most of them :wacko:haha....we may be stayin at the YMCA for a couple of days until the " kids " know what they are doin ( different visas so they have to do 3 months agricultural work ) they dont know whether to go straight off or do it later, so a bit stuck what to actually rent. Will deffo try the holiday rental as that sounds a better prospect at the mo. Once again thanx, hope to see you soon:smiloe: Lv Debs xxxxx:cool:

  9. Hi Don't know if you remember me sending my C.V last year, we have finally been granted our visas and will be arrivin mid-august. Have you still got work for CNC operators? If so have you got any contact numbers for when I arrive so I can arrange an interview. If you have no vacancies do you know of anywhere that has? Thank you for all your help, hope to hear from you soon. Stephen Cox.
  10. hi zaramatty i have e-mailed my husbands CV with a covering letter to the above address. could you please confirm whether you recieved it. thanx Debs
  11. Hi Tim At first I liked the new name better but like crazyh I think most of us whilst still staying " brits " would prefer to be poms. Maybe its got something to do with the fact that I personally want to become an "Ozzy" and not try to shove down everyones throat that I am a brit. I think in this country unfortunately we have had too many people come here and dictate to us, and I for one would'nt want to become something that I loathe about this country. Anyway enough of the madness, I'm a WANNA BE, now get me over THERE. HA. Debs xxxxxxxx
  12. Hi imgtag So sorry to hear of your trouble getting a job:(. Think I'm gonna have the same problem. Don't think my OH will have any trouble getting work as his skill is in need, but as for me, well who knows. I am not qualified in much so really don't have any restrictions and would be willing to do just about anything if it helps the cause. I work as a cleaner at the mo and there seems to be 100's of jobs out there for cleaners but its not that easy ( as you already know ) I suppose it's a bit like here, it's not what you know it's who you know. Sorry I am not of any help just wanted to wish you all the best and keep your chin up. You will find the job you want and it's their loss if they don't hire you, remember that. Debs xxx
  13. Hi Fiona I'm a cleaner at the moment. Gave up a job in the Post Office about 8 months ago to work for my sister ( she pays better and less hours ) wish I could transfer her and the job to perth too. . OH is a CNC operator so it's his application that we are going on. There is me ( 40 ) OH ( 43 ) and our son who is 24 but he is going out on a working holiday visa. Also his girlfriend who will be 21 ( although I think she may miss her mum too much ). Getting way too excited now just want it to be today if you know what I mean. Keep in touch and any questions I may be able to help you with, just ask. TTFN & Tc Lv Debs xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
