Just a recommendation for anyone looking for a good removal company i would recommend Pearsons (think the middlesbourgh based) I shipped from Liverpool to Perth using there full packing / part unpacking service with no problems at all even this side stuff was delivered really quick with no breakages !!!! They were also very reasonably priced compared with other quotes recieved and the customer service recieved was excellent x Nicky

Hiya we are here in Perth on a 457 visa after arriving in April this year after being here only 4 weeks my 15 year old son was taken to hospital for emergency (major) surgery and spent time in ICU, all together he spent 5 1/2 weeks in Fremantle hospital - the care he recieved whilst an inpatient and outpatient was fantastic, we have no private health insurance so was all done through (there eqivalent to NHS?). we had to get health insurance initally for 1 month in order for the visa to be granted we just made sure when we arrived we signed up to medicare straight away, I think you can ? get private insurance if you want to go to a private hospital just as you would in the UK ? other than that you can go to public hospitals which are less short staffed than UK ones , Wasnt what we had planned for our new start in OZ, If you need any further info just message me Nicky x

Mine was ment to be here in May but got held up It finally arrived in Freo on 19th so waiting for the call it will be like xmas x

Has anyone shipped a container over from the UK lately ? Any ideas how long it takes for delivery after it arrives in Freo ??? As im getting desperate for my stuff :wacko: Thanx Nicky x
