  1. Hi, It is on the list, i have checked as my hubby has the qual. I was applying as Project Administrator but it was removed in November (sad times) I have a question though.... is it automatically available on a 489? I have looked at the criteria and it say 186, 187, Skill Select and 457visas.
  2. Thank you Lou that information is very useful. x
  3. Hiya, I've done that is says commensurate of a bachelor degree or higher. So i guess that the answer is you need the degree right?
  4. Hi all, just a quick question, if you are CIMA qualified but don't have a degree do you still qualify for a visa as an accountant? i know there is far more to a visa but it was just the occupation side I was curious of. Thanks x
  5. Hello, Am i calculating the cost correctly for a visa? we are 2 adults and to children (under 18) and the cost for a 190 is looking around £5025 is this about right? Thanks
  6. Hi, Thats fantastic, i came out at 7.5, not bad for my first ever attempt, i missed 3 questions altogether! doh! Thank you for the link. x
  7. Hello, I have just taken my first practice listening test on the British council website and i answered 32 out of 40 questions correctly, however, i cant find what band this drops into. I'm only looking for an initial guide as i need to score 8+ for the extra points because of my age. (boooo!) Can anyone give me any idea how high i need to be scoring to gain the said 8+? Cheers
  8. Could someone please post the link to the most up to date WASMOL please? When I search for it now I'm getting several versions and on one my occupation is listed and on another my old occupation is listed! I'm confused! Thanks for any help on this.
  9. This may appear odd, but , like me does or has anyone else put off applying through fear of rejection and having their dreams shattered? I have wanted the move for many years but have only this last 6 month decided to do anything about it and now have my age against me! I seem to spend a lot of time putting all my evidence/documents together but still hold back! Please tell me I'm not alone in my craziness!
  10. Project administration 8+ years exp in and closely related occupations but just doing the CAPM qual. My old bosses have agreed to verify my experience.
  11. Hello, could someone advise me on what form of proof vetassess would require for pre qualification employment? I fall into category C  Groups C, D & F- three years of relevant employment in addition to at least one year of highly relevant employment at the required skill level in the last 5 years before applying. (Taken from the vetassess website) Thanks A x
  12. So, where do we start? We are saving like mad here as we wanted all funds in place before applying/submitting everything. The problem here is it could be another 12 month before we have the £5k cash for the visas, (our money is in 3 properties we own here and we plan to sell and move a year after obtaining visas) I'm thinking it's going to be better to start the ball rolling with IELTS, skills select etc... But I'm not sure what the first stage is! Hubby is a qualified driving instructor and it looks like we are heading for a 489 after lots of head scratching. Shoukd we start now or save the cash? What are the stages? Ax
  13. Oh wow, you are all fantastic, thank you all so much for this info, it's a massive help, we're closer than we thought. But confused with the vetassess costs still, hubby is a driving instructor and we are looking at a 489 state sponsor option. Ax
  14. Huh?!? Really? Just for visas? When we sell up we will have a healthy amount of cash but we won't sell till we are approved for visas, I meant just for the it's before the actual move, the cost of covering the application. Panic, breath...paper bag!!
