ecass3
Can anyone confirm that to go for teaching roles in WA, I would need a non-practising teaching registration? If so, can I apply for it before I actually get to WA? Thanks for any advice in advance.
LauraHen
Hi, I think you can apply for the non practising registration before you arrive, but you need to send them everything, including transcripts of results for every year of your degree and PGCE, passport, etc, so to send them recorded from the UK might be a little pricey. I went to the TRBWA on the Monday after I landed. Had about an hours wait while everything was copied and verified, then received my registration the following Monday or Tuesday. hope that helps! ecass3
That's good to know LauraHen, thanks. Can't believe they want all those details again after doing the skills test, you'd think that would be sufficient! But hey-ho, on we go, cheers!
