Irish Guy looking somewhere to rent for a month in Perth

Hi Guys , just joined the forum to try and get some Information and hopefully get things sorted. I am currently in Bali and due to arrive in Perth around the 28th January , looking to rent somewhere for about 4 weeks either room in a house or apartment would be perfect. Having just spent 4 months touring Asia def don't want to stay in hostel cant cope anymore lol ! Again have no knowledge of where best to stay in perth in terms of best /safe location etc. so any advice greatly appreciated. The reason for only 4'weeks is that I have to go meet my brother Niall and his friend in Malaysia end of February for a while .

Have you checked Gumtree or the west Australian for adds ?
