We were up that way on Friday and the sat nav took us just past or around Butler then at one of the roundabouts told us to turn left but this was just a dead end turn off leading to an area where it looks like they will start building in the near future. Weedolly Posted January 4, 2015 Report Share Posted January 4, 2015 Just keep going up past Butler, there are a couple of roundabouts, one has a big metal artwork thing on, there is a big sign with cartoon kids on it saying something about Alkimos Beach, round that area. There are about 4 estates, Theres one on the left which looks like quite a lot of houses are finished. There is one called Trinity, one called Alkimos Beach and I cant remember the other two but they are still basically building sites, there is nothing in Alkimos except houses and a couple of parks, think they have started on a school. Obviously some people are living there but not for me, maybe in a few years when its a bit more developed, but still along way out to travel to the city everyday for work if you have to, maybe alright to start with.
