Sweeney
Hey guys my names michael. Been in perth for over a year now and seeking new friends as my older ones have gone back to the Uk. 21 years old wanting to socialise as perth is so isolated and hard to make friends! Anyone else in the same boat?
TheMackemSlayer
Hey Michael. I'm due to arrive in Perth at the beginning of 2016 (still a while a way, I know) and would love to meet up for a drink sometime. I'm 26 and have two kids but would still like to think I can swing with the younger kids if you're interested. Last thing I want is to end up living somewhere with no friends. That'd be awful. Mackem Slayer...looks like we're from the same neck of the woods...I'm a die hard black and white...dreading Sunday.
TheMackemSlayer
Aye, I'm not feeling overly confident either. Club is a shambles from top to bottom. Where abouts are you from like, Joe? I'm in Dunston.
JoeB
Completely mate, glad I now have an excuse to get rid of the season ticket. I'm in Killingworth mate
TheMackemSlayer
Surprised you've lasted this long mate. I gave my season ticket up in 2013. It's not the club I loved anymore and won't be again until Ashley leaves. Looking forward to hitting the burswood casino for matches once in Oz, though. Feel free to join me as I'm going to need a Geordie mate out there.
JoeB
Exactly, ripped the soul out of the club. The atmosphere at the ground now is shocking as well. It's depressing. Aye mate I'll join you for sure, I can't suffer watching them lot alone
TheMackemSlayer
Sound mate. Keep posting on here once you've arrived and that way we can stay in touch until I get there. Nog long for you now if you're heading over in August.

TheMackemSlayer
Hey Sweeney. I'm a steel worker, operate CNC machiney and also have some welding qualifications. We will be living in Burns Beach with family for the first month or so while trying to secure work and visiting suburbs. I'm emigrating on a partner visa - the other half has citizenship. Definitely up for a few drinks when I get there, Matty. Think making mates will be the hardest part so I'll always jump at the chance to socialise. TheMackemSlayer
Great news in regards to finding work, @Sweeney. How do you find getting by if just labouring? I hear Perth is ridiculously expensive and hard to get by if not earning huge sums. I'm not overly worried about meeting people, to be honest. Going with my partner and our two kids, plus we have some family over there. Having said that, I would enjoying meeting a few friends and going out every fortnight or so. Sweeney
just as a brickies labourer i earn roughly 1k a week after tax but I'm paid well labourers earn between 600-1k after tax depending on what labourer or t/a i houseshare in mindarie and manage to save 50% of my wage weekly if i don't go out etc.. so not bad just don't be out of work for long or your f*cked
