Guest hkmum
We were wondering if anyone could give us an idea of what it is like working in Perth as compared to the UK. My husband will be workig as a lawyer in CBD and one of the arrtractions for me is that he should be home earlier and can have time with our son. I was thinking about working hours, benefits and working style. Are there any cultural difference sto be aware of? Thanks
JaynBev
I work out the CBD but in an office based role, my wife works CBD. Simple one park on outskirts of city / nr your home & get the train in. But be warned at peak times it's still busy (it is also air-conditioned). From a job viewpoint day to day it seems very similar to the UK, same stuff different country. However, people are a little more talkative & do have a little bit of the "tomorrow" culture. Not sure this will help much but it's the first reply and others might be able to add some more info. Good luck gettign down under..
