DaveLauren
Hi we are a young couple from the UK newly off the boat. Been here 4 weeks nearly and love it. We have just taken a house on Port bouvard aroud 15 mins from Mandurah. We have meet some great people while being here and end very good friends with people from here. Its always nice to meet new friends that live around the area. Its a bit out of the way here but you get so much more for your money its worth the 1hr travel to perth! Anyone fancy meeting up
lambchopsy
Hi, me and my family are living in Silver Sands so not too far from you. I'm Gemma (31), married to Mark (33) and we have a little girl who is 22 months. We've been here since March so relatively new as well. Would love to meet up. Our little girl tends to come most places with us but have got family here who will babysit if need be.

Agibb83
Hi All , we as a family of 3 me Alan 29 wife Gillian 32 and my little girl 3 have just had our visa granted on friday past, and will be heading over from scotland to mandurah, when that is we dont know, i currently work offshore in the uk but am looking at doing carpentry work over in oz, i am in a good paid job at present so dont really want to leave to come over to oz with no job and cash lol, the idea was to wait untill after may 17th next year as that is when my wifes sister gets married here in scotland , however on recieving our visa grant letter it states we need to be in oz by the 15th may aaaahhh, so the plan has now changed and we were thinking a we holiday to validate visa in oct, but now we are undecided and want to make the move sooner, the only thing is work ..... as you guys are over there (and i know this may not be your profession, however do you guys know if mandurah has alot of building work going on at present? ) now that the visa is here its very difficult to try and stay here in the uk lol....... help please lol, also meeting new people and making new friends would be ideal....:-)
lambchopsy
Hi to all. Alan I'm not sure about availability in your line of work, maybe if you start a thread asking about it someone will be able to help. Congratulations on receiving your grant letter x
