Did you have to go over to UK first to sign papers to enable family to be legally able to act on your behalf, did you have a local estate agent or an national one. We want to do it all from here, we currently have tenants so not sure of process.

Our rental company is only rental not sales, so might be different. Gonna call a local agent and see what is required. Thanks for replies.

Before you pay for a UK prescription, just check you can bring the medication to Oz, most of ours came through but some antibiotics were not allowed in and were destroyed by customs. If you get them free in the UK then it may be worth the risk.

Hello All, At this time of year some people will be missing family and friends (me included), so I was hoping to organise a meet up on 28th December for all ages. It will be a good way to meet potential new friends and have something to look forward to over the holiday period. We can meet at Rocky Foreshore picnic area, and everyone can bring their own picnic/BBQ and drinks. As we can not book a spot it will be a matter of turning up and finding a spot, so you may want to bring a blanket or chair also. We love it here, it is close to beach, parks (for dog), and shops (for me and son). My son is in year 11 and has made friends easily, he said everyone is friendly in the schools here not like the UK where if you are the new kid no one speaks to you! So all is good. It would be good to have more people to socialise, so when you are settled in, let me know and we can arrange a meet up. It is 33 degrees today so warming up for summer! Therefore don't pack too many clothes in your cases.
