I just moved to Perth on a 457 but I never put my girlfriend on my visa because I wasn't too sure about the job. I now want to add her but on my immi account am unsure which new application I need to fill out. Does anybody know what I have to do? New Life Down Under Posted September 19, 2014 Report Share Posted September 19, 2014 It will be up to your employer to decide whether or not they wish to add your girlfriend to your visa on a 457 You can not add her without their permission. If she is just a girlfriedn you can not add her on, she needs to be a defacto partner and you would have had to declare your defacto status in your previous application.
