English Rose
Hi all, I have heard from immigration they require evidence of health insurance for my whole family, and also evidence that any children under 18 can travel with me. It's is for a 457 visa. What did others do for this please? What's good enough for them? Thanks all Jo x
Vicky and Phill
Hi English Rose, we contacted Bupa and they sent us a letter via email to confirm that we would start our medical insurance once we had landed in Perth. We then forwarded the confirmation letter to the migration agent and this satisfied the 457 visa process.

They seem to have only asked for this at the moment. x
Vicky and Phill
From what I recall they only asked this from us too and then within a couple of days the visa came through. Hopefully this will be the same for you. Good Luck...

English Rose
Hi, Is the travel insurance certificate form enough to show you are able to travel with children under 18? Thanks Jo
Plimthing
We arranged health insurance with bupa for the whole family. As Vikki and Phil did, we sent the letter from BUPA to the visa people and they were happy. They provided letter whilst we were in the UK, but did not start paying until we were in Oz. If you fire off an email to whichever insurer you want to use they will sort you out. Once they had this and a military service discharge certificate for myself, the visa arrived 2 days later. I had a 'brown trouser moment' as we were not ready for it either!
