Westernbound Posted October 15, 2014 Report Share Posted October 15, 2014 Hi, Am looking at moving west from SA at the momenet (well hubby is!) and in particular the area around RAAF Pearce/Bullbrook. We have an 11 year old so keen to know what schools are like and commute time into the city please. Anyone who works at Pearce who could provide us with any info would be gratefully received. Nikkis2000 Posted October 15, 2014 Report Share Posted October 15, 2014 Hi and welcome to the forum! We are moving to Lower chittering in the near future and OH runs his business out of Bullsbrook. I can't comment on schools as we don't have kids but from what I know there are a few choices around Midland and I guess Ellenbrook would be an option too. Commute wise it takes about an hour into the city. its a pretty easy run though and there are options other than the freeway if it's stuffed. I'm not sure if there'll be anyone on here that actually works on the base but happy to be proved wrong! To be fair there's not many from round that way full stop!
