clairej456
Hi there i am at the beginning of the APHRA process and so far haven't got past doing my CV! I am just wondering if anyone can help please. For the section were they require details of clinical/procedural do you have to provide a certificate for each listed thing. I work in ICU and do a lot of clinical things on a daily basis however I do not have a certificate to say I can do each thing. I included mandatory training here also but again we just attend training but do not actually get a certificate for each thing. Is is anyone else in the same situation as me who can give any advice ! Thanks Claire
Danny
Hi Claire, Just provide what you can and cross your fingers. They later told me that I hadn't provided enough evidence of some things - like British A-level certificates and a British medical degree did not establish I had been taught in English for >2 years, and a certificate of completion of 2nd year foundation training did not establish that I had completed the first year... I had to get my school/training organisation to email them confirmation directly and they accepted this. All very frstrating. I can't remember including any documentation on procedural skills, but as a GP there's nothing too technical I rely on. Dan
louloubelle
Mine was quite brief to be honest, I listed all my mandatory training and the few extra bits I'd done, I am mental health those so maybe a little different, I did not send any certificates or evidence and I was not asked to provide anything extra. Good luck
clairej456
Thank you for the replies. I think I may have to just put in it what I can and just hope for the best! Although there is a lot of information on their site some parts are still really unclear so without the help of these groups I would be totally stuck! I will carry on until the next hurdle )
