Guest Posted February 7, 2016 Report Share Posted February 7, 2016 I'm Australian been back in uk 4 years seeng my partner 3 who's 51.my adult children still live in Perth and I miss them so much and been flying to see them every 6 months I need to be back there with them. is it better to move back to oz and my partner moves there and we apply or stay in uk but I don't wa t to wait a year plus for process. whats our best option and quickest . You our will need to establish the relationship as a defacto - the most common means is by proving you have lived together for at least 12 months. One bit of advice is I would urge you to ensure you would have the right to go back to the uk in case needed as this is now very hard and many people are falling fowl of it.
