Guest M Barr
Hi, I am about to start the immigration process but wanted to clarify some info and was wondering if anyone on here can help. We will be getting our visa as my partner is a ceiling fixer and has a qualification in plastering. I understand we need to convert his qualification to one that is recognised in Australia but wanted to make sure we had this right. What is a solid plaster in Oz expected to do? Is this Skimming? Building partitioned walls and suspended ceilings etc? It seems different to what a plaster does here in the UK. Also what kind of wage could he expect to earn? Give me a break!
Right I am not a Tradie and hopefully one will be along to help but I think that a plasterer is called a dry wall liner here. Hope someone can confirm or tell me to get my facts right soon:wubclub:
