Are my uk Swimming teacher qualifications valid in Perth?

Hi all, I'm a swimming teacher currently working at David Lloyd Gym an was wondering if my qualifications are valid in Oz. Also, does anyone know whether there is a demand for teachers? My oh is an electrician and our visa will be based on that but i would really like to work too.... Thanks heaps, sophie

Hi sophie, not sure about your qualifications, perhaps look up a contact for the swimming associations or contact an aquatic centre to ask

You need to contact Royal Surf Lifesaving , they do the swimming courses in Perth. They would be able to tell you if your certification would be valid.

I was wondering if you ever got an answer to your question, and what, if any training you had to do please.

I am a Level 2 ASA Swim teacher looking to move to Perth next year.
