We are a US based company that would be looking to higher local contractors to perform the work. Could anyone help provide info about the local construction culture: Is WA primarily union or non-union? In the US we have a wage scale that sets the wages for various trades when working on federal projects, is their something similar in WA? Do we contract directly with the contractor or is their a middle man? What is the average cost of a meter of 30MPa concrete? What are equipment rates like?
