aussiebird2012 Posted May 24, 2013 Report Share Posted May 24, 2013 hi, can i please ask you what happens when you break a lease? what penalties are involved and does it go against you when looking for another rental? not sure if that's the case with you, but i'm not happy in my rental, got 5 months left and have been to see another rental and really want to apply for it, but i'm very worried that our current rental will not be taken over and we would have to carry on paying the rent until a new tenant is found. we have always paid our rent on time and are excellent tenants, also would worry about how long it would take to get our bond back, not sure if the agent would be difficult because we broke the lease? many thanks.
