Hi everyone! We are coming to Perth in August for 1 year. My partner has a job in the CBD..we are having trouble deciding where to live as we have never been there. Done lots of research but how do you choose? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks :-)

before i did physio I used to work in theaters in tssu, , but i used to help in the anaesthetic room and always thought the OPD job looked really intereesting.. I am willing to work anywhere that will have me as I have had a 2 year career break due to an injury! As we haven't decided where to live I am looking generally north of the river within a half hour commute for my partner. Exciting but stressful! Where have you chosen to live?

could anyone please offer me some advice. I know i need insurance to cover the 457 visa, however after that is medicare sufficient or would private cover be recommended? I am very confused and getting my tail in a twist so would really appreciate some good advice please

Hi, my partner has had a job offer but they have never sponsored before. They emailed us asking if we were using one..we were hoping not to to save money, but if we need to then we will.. :-/

We are hoping to come out to Perth on a 457 visa. Should we be using a migration agent or are we able to do it alone? I would appreciate any advice as they seem quite expensive? Thanks

I am so JEALOUS!! congratulations! We were being sponsored and just found out yesterday they are now unable to proceed with the offer for the time being grrrr! Did you use a migration agent?

Hi there, I am new to this site. I am very excited that my partner has been offered a job in Marmion, Perth. He has a provisional start date of 28th May, Visa 457 depending of course! I am trying to find a short term rental within ideally a 20 min drive of Marmion, the prices seem rather expensive! Can anyone recommend any suburbs that would be good to live in please. We are a couple (34 & 45 yrs old) who like the outdoors, not too fussy on the location as long as it's safe! Any advice/tips would be greatly appreciated! Thank you JOx
