flatpack
We're hoping to be in Perth early next year on a 190 SS visa. I'm a carpenter by trade and 25 years experience, I'm seem to have a knack of teaching apprentices and to be honest I enjoy passing on the skills I've learned to the next generation. Can anyone point me in the right direction to being able to teach at a Tafe in Oz, what qualifications I'd need, chances of employment and salaries expected. It's only an idea at this stage but one I'd like to look into a little further.
ali
This link says you don't need any formal teaching qualifications but it's an advantage and as a new lecturer you have to gain the Cert iv within 2 years. - sorry don't know how old the link is http://www.vta.vic.edu.au/docs/WP_in_TAFE/12_WA_What_does_a_Lecturer_do.pdf
