portlaunay
Anyone up for a ramble? Just wondered if there are others on here who are into bush walking? We've not a great deal of experience and having two small kids our walks aren't particularly long but if there's anyone else around who fancies a walk through some bushland sometime we'd be up for a couple of hours. For inspiration there are a couple of links here to some great walks; http://trailswa.com.au http://www.experienceperth.com/things-to-see-and-do/nature-and-wildlife/tracks-and-trails/perth's-top-walking-trails
Guest guest9824
I'm not into rambling, but there are some really good trails to walk here. Obviously we have the bibbulmun track, which starts in Kalamunda and stretches all the way to Albany. People do walk it all, and stay in the little wooden shacks that are built along it, saw one in Walpole and people were camping in it! Just be careful when bush walking, some serious critters out there ready to snack on those lovely milk bottle white legs! Bull ant bites are not nice! Hope you get some participants! DangerousDave
We will be interested in this when we arrive. We do plenty of walking here. Kids will be a bit bigger by then. I invested in one of those off road buggies after having to carry my daughter when the inevitable tiredness kicks in. Thanks for sharing the links. We had a good walk round Kings Park on our reccie trip and can't wait to explore more.
