Just asked for a copy of our file from our agent, who has quoted me £475+vat per hour, so £570 PER HOUR in order to obtain our own copy

Is that reasonable? (seems very steep to me!)

Again , why im so glad we sacked our agent after one week ! yep that does seem steep , but im no expert ;o)

I suppose they can charge what they like as a private company, they wont be cover by FOI act as that's only government/public bodies. But does sound like extortion to me, have you fallen out with them? If not might be worth some negotiation or tell them you don't want a copy but you'd like to come in a privately view it then photograph it all with your phone!!
